We are pleased to announce that Martin Asbæk Projects participate for the first time in Paris Photo November 16 – 19, 2006. Opening November 15. 8 Nordic galleries have been selected for STATEMENT curated by Andrea Holzherr. In this section Martin Asbæk Projects present a solo show How to Hunt by Trine Søndergaard / Nicolai Howalt.The two artists have participated in a range of hunts around Denmark. The images of nature register the world of hunting and the interplay of humans, nature and animals. How to Hunt balances between fascinated studies of the phenomenon of hunting on the one hand, and a series of beautiful landscapes heralding back to Romanticism on the other. We are also pleased to inform you that Søndergaard / Howalt have been shortlisted for the 3rd annual BMW Paris Photo Prize for photography with the work “Kromanns Remise #1” from How to Hunt.
